LLM (Large Language Model)

A statistical model trained on text that predicts likely next tokens. LLMs power chat assistants, drafting tools, and many AI features.

Why it matters

LLMs do not 'know' facts — they produce plausible text. Treating them as authoritative leads to wrong answers and leaked information.

Example

A founder uses an LLM to draft an investor update, then has a teammate verify every metric against the source spreadsheet before sending.
